Velian Terrashine belongs to a classless society of equality, art and democracy; a land full of creativity and mindfulness. It is in that perfect political system that one wrong movement, one careless mistake can cost her her life. Bounded to live in disguise for fear of being executed for something she had no control over, the night of the Summer Festival she comes across another lethal secret that can change not only her life, but the future of an unknown kingdom as well.

It is only when she ends up in the Gap World, a place between Heaven and Hell, that she realizes that someone can be truly and deeply alive even in a place filled with death and rain.

A FEW WORDS FROM THE WRITER

The idea behind that story came to me one summer night in 2018 when I was contemplating whether there's life after death or not. Of course, I didn't find an answer, but that didn't stop me from thinking about the fact that if something as wild as an afterlife existed, would I end up in Hell or Heaven? I knew that I wasn't good enough for Heaven and I was way too scared to think about the possibility of endind up in Hell. And so the Gap World was born: a kindom in the empty space between Heaven and Hell for those who don't meet the criteria to become a part of Heaven, but don't deserve the cruel fate of Hell either.
